Through their eyes

Some eyes speak without words. Through Their Eyes is a collection of cats and dogs whose expressions reveal something surprisingly familiar. A curious glance, a quiet moment, a hint of sadness or a playful look — each one carries its own emotion and tells a story of its own. Sometimes their eyes seem almost human, reminding us that emotions don't need words to be understood. A collection about expressions, feelings and the quiet connection we share with the animals around us.

Four Beds: One Space to Dream

Inside university dormitories, four students are frequently compressed into a single room originally designed for far fewer. Set against the backdrop of Greater Cairo, Four Beds: One Space to Dream is an intimate visual exploration of the realities of student housing, systemic overcrowding, and aging infrastructure. Documenting a dormitory room temporarily called home, the camera turns inward to examine how young women navigate the delicate intersection of collective living and individual dignity. The series captures the quiet, everyday friction of sharing extremely limited quarters: communal washbasins, stacked footwear, rows of plastic water bottles, packed suitcases, and makeshift drying lines. Yet, rather than dwelling purely on spatial constraints or institutional hardship, the project acts as a tribute to resilience. Through shared rituals—studying, packing, praying, and quiet companionship—the residents continuously reshape restrictive environments to carve out personal agency. Bound together by friendship, faith, and ambition, Four Beds: One Space to Dream bears witness to how human warmth and perseverance persist even within the tightest confines, holding space for hope and futures yet unwritten.
